The hands behind every cup.
Annie is the founder, head roaster, and resident baker of DivineLand — and the reason the ovens are always warm before sunrise.
A city baker who came home to the woods
Annie grew up two towns over, in a house where the kitchen was always louder and warmer than every other room. After years of baking professionally in busy city kitchens, she came back to find a slower pace — and a plot of land with more pine trees than neighbors.
She didn't set out to run a cafe. She set out to build a cabin, plant a garden, and bake bread the way her grandmother taught her. DivineLand grew out of that — one loaf, one pot of coffee, and one curious neighbor at a time.
The values behind every batch
Made From Scratch
No shortcuts, no mixes. Annie bakes every pastry and roasts every batch of beans herself, in small quantities, every day.
Neighbors First
She still remembers names, orders, and birthdays. DivineLand grew one regular at a time, and that's the way she likes it.
Rooted In The Land
Annie sources what she can from local farms and her own back garden — herbs, honey, and seasonal fruit make it into the menu often.
The order she never gets tired of
Ask Annie what she'd order if she walked in as a stranger, and she'll tell you without hesitating: a slow-poured pour-over and a warm cinnamon-honey scone, eaten at the window nook while the coffee is still too hot to drink comfortably.
It's simple on purpose. "If I can't get excited about a plain scone and good coffee," she says, "then I'm making the wrong things."
